Lindsay Clancy returned to court Tuesday for the first time since the mistrial, and her lawyer argued there is “no evidence” she killed her three children — after a trial in which she did not contest that she had killed them.
Clancy, a former nurse, is charged with first-degree murder in the Jan. 24, 2023, strangling deaths of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, at the family’s home in Duxbury. Prosecutors say she then jumped from a window in a suicide attempt and was left paralyzed and in a wheelchair. She has pleaded not guilty.
At her five-week trial, attorney Kevin Reddington argued she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was overmedicated when she strangled the children and tried to take her own life. Clancy did not dispute during the trial that she killed them. The fight then was over criminal responsibility.
The jury deadlocked 11-1. Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial Sept. 4, saying he had “no choice.”
On Tuesday, Reddington asked that the case be thrown out, saying prosecutors failed to prove she was responsible for the deaths. ---More...
Democrats Plan Bill for Abortions Up to Birth Nationwide if They Win Congress
House Democrats have unveiled their plan of attack if they win Congress of Congress and it starts with legislation to legalize abortions up to birth nationwide.
An 84-page health policy agenda circulated among House Democrats outlines the party’s legislative priorities should they win a congressional majority, including a concerted effort to make abortion on demand the law nationwide.
House Bill 12, deviously known as the Women’s Health Protection Act, is an extreme measure that would effectively permit abortion up to birth nationwide by overriding state-level restrictions. It would override the pro-life laws of every state that currently protects babies from abortions under the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs. ---More...
Lindsay Clancy Holdout Juror: “Three Angels Who Can’t Speak for Themselves” Need Justice
The lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial said the public should stop focusing on him and look instead at the three children who were killed, calling them “three angels” who cannot speak, defend themselves or fight their own battles.
Michael Desronvil spoke Monday in a video aired on Fox News’ “Hannity,” his first direct public remarks since a mistrial was declared Sept. 4.
“I know the whole focus has been on me, but we want to reel everything back and put the focus on the three angels,” Desronvil said. “The ones that can’t speak for themselves, the ones that can’t defend themselves, and the ones that can’t fight the battles, and those are Cora, Dawson and Callan.” ---More...
Virginia Pastors: Vote No on Radical Abortion Amendment
A group of pastors are imploring Virginians to vote no on proposed constitutional amendments in November’s elections that would permanently enshrine abortion access and same-sex marriage in the state’s governing document.
Over the weekend, pastors of Virginia wrote a letter to the Commonwealth declaring their stance on the propositions. Twenty-five names are shown as the initial signatures on the document, followed by an additional 150, largely from Baptist and Presbyterian churches in the state.
“We write to you with prayer and concern for the ongoing vote (Sept 18-Nov 3) on the abortion and marriage amendments to the Virginia Constitution,” the letter opens. “We believe these two amendments must be rejected for the Commonwealth of Virginia because they will harm our state as they are opposed to human flourishing and contrary to the Word of God.” ---More...

On Sept. 26–27, the Pro-Life Generation returned to Missouri, this time deploying in Springfield as we continued working to pass Amendment 3.
Our Springfield teams knocked on more than 6,000 doors; held hundreds of conversations, including more than 150 pro-life conversations; recorded numerous minds changed, and nearly 100 voter activations, and distributed yard signs.
Combined with our Aug. 29 Kansas City deployment, that is well over 8,200 Missouri doors knocked and nearly 200 voter activations across the two deployments, plus additional results that were not documented. ---More...
